For the second straight year, the Farmers will compete in the Bonham 7-on-7 League.

Making up the four-week league are Bonham’s Purple and White teams, Honey Grove, Trenton, Paris Chisum, Tom Bean and Blue Ridge.

Games are scheduled for May 18, May 26, June 1 and June 8 at Warriors Stadium.

Farmersville didn’t participate May 18, due to the all-sports award banquet.

They opened May 26 against Bonham’s White team and Tom Bean.

Games for June 1 are versus Paris Chisum (5 p.m.) and Honey Grove (6 p.m.).

League play wraps up June 8 with contests against Trenton (5:30 p.m.) and Bonham’s White (6:30 p.m.) group.

Farmersville will finally begin preparations for the 2015 season, starting Aug. 3 with non-contact practices.

They will strap on the pads and go full contact four days later.

The season’s first scrimmage is slated for 6:30 p.m. Aug. 15 versus visiting Palmer.

The Farmers travel five days later to Quinlan Ford for the last warm up.

The non-district commences 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28 on the road against Cooper.

They won last year’s opener 42-32 over the visiting Bulldogs.

Things shift back to home 7:30 p.m. Sept. 4 with Community to open the newly renovated Fightin’ Farmers Stadium.

Games left before the start of district are with Emory Rains (Sept. 11) and Bonham (Sept. 18 on Homecoming), and at Kemp (Sept. 25).

Following an open date the Farmers open 5-3A Div. I play Oct. 9 at Pottsboro.

Followed by at Whitesboro (Oct. 16), with Callisburg (Oct. 23), at Van Alstyne (Oct. 30) and with Pilot Point (Nov. 6 on Parents Night).

All games start at 7:30 p.m.
