The Class of 2015 at Farmersville High School has a lot to be proud of including receiving more than $500,000 in scholarship funds.

Students that received scholarships include:

Kelsey Archer – $46,000 Texas A&M Commerce Regent’s Scholarship and $1,500 Texas A&M University-Commerce Academic Excellence Scholarship.

Salutatorian Jennifer Callaway – $60,000 University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Salutatorian Scholarship, $10,000 University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Leadership Scholarship, $1,000 Independent Bank Scholarship, $1,000 Tedford Chevrolet Scholarship, $500 FHS National Honor Society and $100 Collin County Daughters of the American Revolution.

Ashley Carpenter – $1,000 Farmersville Rotary Club Scholarship, $500 Farmersville Chamber of Commerce Scholarship and $750 J.D. Russell Company Scholarship.

Jaelon Clark – $500 Gay, McCall, Isaacks, Gordon and Roberts Scholarship.

Hunter Exum – $114,000 Centennary College of Louisiana Scholarship and $12,000 Texas A&M University – Texarkana Clay Eichler Memorial Scholarship and $1,000 Farmersville Centennial Scholarship.

Linda Ferretiz – $400 FHS Outstanding Office Aide Scholarship.

 

Annalissa Greer –$700 Anna Greer-St. John’s Lodge 51 Scholarship and $500 Farmerville Masonic Lodge Scholarship.

Valedictorian Grace Harrison – Texas Education Association Highest Ranking Student Scholarship 1st year of tuition, $88,000 Austin College Dean’s Scholarship, $8,000 Austin College Music Scholarship, $1,000 Farmersville Ex Students Association Scholarship, $500 Farmersville Chamber of Commerce Scholarship and $1,500 Thomas M & Milton B Lovell Memorial Scholarship.

CJ Hibbitts – $500 Bud Weston Honorary FFA Scholarship and $500 John Smith Memorial FFA Scholarship.

Lindsey Howell – $1,250 Collin College Scholarship and $400 FHS Outstanding Office Aide Scholarship.

Jordan Jackson – $500 Farmersville Quilt Guild Scholarship, $500 Universal Transformer, Inc. Scholarship and $500 FHS National Honor Society.

Ryan Jackson – $500 Farmersville Chamber of Commerce Scholarship and $500 Farmersville Quilt Guild Scholarship.

Keondra Jones – $500 Purple and Gold Scholarship.

Josh Laube – $750 Higginbotham Community Fund of the Community Foundation of North Texas Scholarship, $500 Herbert & Olga Henslee Memorial Scholarship and $500 Family Care Chiropractic – Dr. Charles Keith Scholarship.

 

Andrew Lee – $500 Farmersville Dental – Dr. Carole Bates Scholarship

Jay Lokey – $40,000 Lubbock Christian University Bible Major Scholarship, $30,000 Dr. & Mrs. James R. Wood Memorial Scholarship, $16,000 Lubbock Christian University Academic Scholarship, $2,500 Heritage Land Bank Scholarship, $1,000 Leadership Training for Christ Scholarship and $1,000 Tedford Family Scholarship.

Kayla McCarns – $5,000 James G Stanford Scholarship, $400 FHS Outstanding Teacher Aide Scholarship and $300 Cara Olsen Memorial Band Scholarship.

Jessica Meguire – $1,000 Farmersville Rotary Club Scholarship and $500 Farmersville Chamber of Commerce Scholarship.

Jordan Newman – $500 Universal Transformer, Inc. Scholarship.

Darrin Pennington – $5,000 Gladys David Best Scholarship and $500 Farmersville Dental – Dr. Carole Bates Scholarship.

Kyle Ravsten – $1,000 Farmersville Rotary Club Scholarship.

Veronica Rodriguez – $1,000 Farmersville Rotary Club, James Highsmith Scholarship

Matthew            Rose – $2,000 First Baptist Church Servant’s Heart Scholarship and $500 First Baptist Church JD Bickley Scholarship.

Austin Timbrel – $1,000 Farmersville Centennial Scholarship

William Watkins – $500 Farmersville Masonic Lodge Scholarship and $500 Farmersville Dental – Dr. Carole Bates Scholarship.

 

Karl Wieser – $1,000 Farmersville Masonic Lodge Scholarship.

Rebekah Young – $1,000 Farmersville Order of Eastern Star Scholarship.

20 students were awarded scholarships through Farmersville Education Foundation, totaling $31,500. Three students were awarded scholarships through Farmersville ISD for a total of $1,100.
