State Fair of Texas 2023 SFOT

Letter to the editor

by | Jul 23, 2015 | Opinion

Dear Editor,

Personally, I’m not a big fan of Donald Trump, and I wouldn’t vote for him even if Trump was my boss and my job depended on who I voted for. If I had to give out one good reason not to vote for Trump (aside from the fact that he appears to be a self-centered, attention-seeking businessman with a love for money and a lust for the media), it would be his disparagement of Sen. John McCain, who did a lot more for this country than Donald Trump ever could. If you ask me, I think Trump should try to envision himself as a prisoner of war who spent years enduring a lot of abuse. Perhaps Trump would look at things differently. Perhaps he would view McCain as a hero.
