Reading Program continues each Wednesday

The Summer Reading Club at Rike Library will continue at 2 p.m. every Wednesday with superhero reading time and craft time. Everyone, despite their age, is invited to attend!

Reading clubs will be held at 2 p.m. each Wednesday through Aug. 19.

Each week kids will participate in themed programs with a craft and stories.

FISD holding student registration in August

Farmersville ISD will be holding new student enrollment from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, Wednesday, Aug. 12, Thursday, Aug. 13 Friday, Aug. 14 and 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 .

The following items are needed: birth certificate, Social Security card, proof of residency (example- bill (water, electric) in the parent’s/guardians name, copy of parent(s) drivers licenses and shot record.

Local meetings set for August

The Farmersville ISD School Board will be hosting their regular meeting 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17. Agenda can be found online at www.farmersvilleisd.net on Aug. 14.

The Farmersville City Council will be holding their regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11.
