COOPER – Despite some new faces across the board, Farmersville (1-0) looked at their best in a 37-22 win over the Bulldogs.

“I think that is the best that we have played to start the season in the now four years in our system,” head coach Sammy Burnett said. “The kids did a good job of getting off to a fast start and staying with it. It’s always good to start off the season with a win.”

One of the highlights of the night was the play of the defensive unit.
