In a back and forth battle last Friday, Farmersville fell 48-40 to Community.
“I thought it was a pretty good ballgame. I thought we were pretty evenly matched,” head coach Sammy Burnett said. “We each had 600 yards (of offense) and not much defense. At halftime we figured the last team that had the ball would have an opportunity to win it.”
The Farmers (1-1) tied the game 40-40 at the 7:08 mark of the third quarter at Brave Stadium.
