Residents question council about electric rates

Several public comments were heard recently regarding electric rates and Smart Meters.

During the Sept. 8 city council meeting several citizens spoke about their concerns over rising electric costs in the public comment portion of the meeting.

Delilah Parker expressed concerns about a variety of topics regarding Smart Meters including the possibility of radiation being omitted by them and the meters not lasting as long as traditional electric meters.
