Crowds congregate at the newly renovated Fightin’ Farmers Stadium for the Homecoming pep rally Sept. 18. The stadium was used for the first time after renovations for Homecoming festivities.

After much anticipation the newly renovated Fightin’ Farmers Stadium opened to receive people at its first home game Sept. 18.

Though the process was not without its ups and downs, Superintendent Jeff Adams said that the reaction from the majority of residents at Friday night’s game was a positive one.

“Everyone seems to be very excited about the stadium,” he said. “The only negativity we heard was from parents asking why we couldn’t have done this sooner so their kids could have played on a turf field.”
