State ranked programs posed many challenges

By the conclusion of the week the first half of the District 13-3A season will be in the books.

They stayed things off Sept. 29 with No. 19 state-ranked Van Alstyne and play 4:30 p.m. Friday at No. 16 Commerce.

“We are up for a challenge on our next two matches,” head coach Harold Davis said. “They both have really good teams, are ranked in the Top 20 and have at least 20 wins as well. It will be a great test for us.”
