Farmersville Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Jan. 3.
According to police reports, a 23-year-old male Sonic employee was making a night drop at the Independent Bank drive-through at about 11:15 p.m. He was approached by a black male with a firearm and was then robbed at gunpoint for one of the deposit bags, which contained approximately $800.
The suspect got away with the bag and money and fled on foot. No one was harmed.
A video of the incident was captured and the suspect was wearing a blue hoodie and a bandana with a design on it.
