While many took the opportunity this week to go on trips, relax and have fun, many others embraced the opportunity to help others continue clean up from the Dec. 26 tornadoes that struck Farmersville and the surrounding area.
Along Hwy. 78 in Copeville remnants of the disaster still sit beside the road making many question and ponder when will the debris be picked up.
According to County Administrator Bill Bilyeu, since Hwy. 78 is a state operated roadway it would be the state or individual property owners’ responsibility to pick up and dispose of the debris along the highway.
