After counting tickets and recovering from a chaotic day, the annual Taste of Farmersville has been deemed a success by organizers.
The event, which was held over the Memorial Day weekend May 28, took place at the Onion Shed, despite complications arising from the downtown fire that destroyed two buildings.
“We consider it a success and had good participation both from the vendors and crowds coming to the event,” organizer Shirley Weldon said.
