Gathering downtown, Farmersville residents paid homage to Audie Murphy as well as local veterans and active duty personnel.

The 17th annual Audie Murphy Day organized by the Farmersville Main Street was held June 18.

Festivities kicked off with participants registering for the event and having a free breakfast provided by First Baptist Church.
