Lodge presents community awards

The Farmersville Masonic Lodge has been assiduous in their community efforts recently.

The lodge held its annual scholarship presentation and presented its Community Builder award July 14.

Mike Hurst recently received the Community Builder Award presented by Dustin Bridges, and Robbie Tedford cited Hurst’s public service, contributions to the betterment of his community and his volunteer spirit in making Farmersville a better place to live. Hurst thanked the lodge, noting its role with members of his immediate family, and he reiterated his dedication to Farmersville and gave appreciation to his immediate family for allowing him the opportunity to contribute to Farmersville’s success.
