Peeling back the Halloween fun: Safety paramount with All Hallows Eve

With Halloween quickly approaching on Monday, Oct. 31, the Farmersville Police Department is encouraging safety and sharing tips to make the holiday fun and safe.

One safety tip said Police Chief Mike Sullivan is to make sure an adult is traveling with you, even as older trick-or-treater.

“We advise people to travel in numbers, carry a cell phone and don’t stray too far from home,” Sullivan said. “It’s preferable to have an adult with you at all times.”
