Several police related items were discussed at the recent city council meeting.

At the special called meeting held Tuesday, April 3, Farmersville Police Mike Sullivan got the go ahead to order a new police car for the city’s fleet.

Prior to approval, Mayor Diane Piwko asked city staff how the city’s finances were doing since revenue is a little under what was projected in the budget.

City Manager Ben White clarified that typically more revenue for the city’s electric and water funds is seen during summer.
