New FISD police chief named

Changes are in the works for both the Farmersville Police Department and the Farmersville ISD Police Department.

Effective immediately, Lieutenant Brian Alford has taken the reins as the news FISD Chief. He has served with the Farmersville Police Department since 2010.

Alford replaces Chief Toby Caviness who has served as the school district’s police department chief for five years.
