Unstoppable: Lady Farmers plow under Panthers

The Lady Farmers brought the fire at the start of the district schedule.

They rolled 17-2 over visiting Quinlan Ford in 13-4A.

Haley Lewis homered, and Kate Ingram finished just shy of the cycle with a single, double and triple, and scored three runs.

The first half of the season concluded a few days earlier with a 17-4 trouncing of Class 5A Mesquite Poteet.

They scored one run in the first inning, 11 in the second, three in the third and two more in the fifth on 18 hits in the five inning win.
