First responders and firefighters are often part of citizens’ worst days.
This weekend will provide an opportunity for those citizens to give back with the Farmersville Volunteer Fire Department’s annual fish fry.
The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at the Farmersville High School.
“This has been a very long year for the department. We have lost a couple of our retirees as well as one of our members. We had a tragic house fire and had a couple of key members retire. However, we’ve taken on a couple of new members and have developed some great training courses. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at this year’s Annual Fish Fry,” Fire Chief Kim Morris said.
