Board, commission seats appointed last week

Newly elected city councilmember Dwain Mathers came up on the losing side of the vote 10 times when it came to boards and commission appointments.

Nominations were made at the Tuesday, May 28 council meeting.

On the Farmersville Economic Development Board (4A), both Robbie Tedford and Randy Smith were up for reappointment. Councilmember Craig Overstreet made a nomination to reappoint Tedford and Smith.

Councilmember Dwain Mathers nominated Joe Helmberger and Mike Goldstein for the seats.
