Council expected to adopt 2019-20 budget

by | Sep 19, 2019 | Area news

During a special meeting on Tuesday, city council was expected to adopt a tax rate of 75 cents and the 2019-20 operating budget.

A week ago, no one spoke either in favor, or opposition at the public hearings for the tax rate increase or the proposed budget held on Sept. 10, 2019.

The fiscal year budget for 2019-20 projects total revenue of $11.69 million down from an estimate of $11.72 million for 2018-19.
