The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has created a new set of challenges the past few weeks, one of those being how to keep residents of long-term care and assisting living facilities in touch with loved ones they may be accustomed to seeing several times a week.
Visitors to senior living communities were banned by state proclamation about three weeks ago for the safety of residents who are more severely affected than the general population if stricken by COVID-19.
