State gives guidance on reopening schools

Farmersville ISD administrators are slowly but surely getting plans in motion for the upcoming school year.

A first day of school has not yet been set. According to Superintendent Micheal French, the situation is currently too fluid to allow for specifics.

He noted, though, that he and the Board of Trustees are considering a hybrid option in which students attend classes in person a few days a week and learn remotely on other days.

They’re also planning what a fully remote option might look like.
