Old door gets new home, purpose

Couple restores 100-year-old garage sale find

 Dawn Costello has a love of antiques and a keen eye for finding treasures at ga­rage sales.

In fact, a 100-year-old door that was once used in Dyer Drug Store now has a new home in what Dawn and her husband Mark Costello call their forever home in Farmersville.

“We believe the door is over 100-years-old,” Dawn said. “I saw this door at a garage sale Rhonda Weston had in an off-limits section and knew I had to have this door.”
