Farmersville does not at the moment have a manager to run its Main Street program, but the president of the city’s Main Street board of directors is expressing high confidence that the city will find a qualified candidate to continue working on reviving the city’s downtown business and entertainment district.
“We are still accepting applications,” said Doris Cooks, who was recently reappointed to the Main Street board. She doesn’t have a deadline in mind for hiring a manager, but she remains confident in the selection process that is underway.
