Last week, the city of Farmersville had an opportunity to discuss how to spend money, save money and start budgeting money.
The meeting began with an update from Farmersville Main Street Board president Doris Cooks about a national accreditation the program received earlier this year.
During public comments, several citizens spoke regarding CARES Act money the city had received from Collin County. Donna Williams of Red Door Antiques, Misty Dixon of The Hayloft and Elise Bobbit of Pieville USA offered suggestions for the use of the money.
