In the first home sporting event of the season, the Farmersville High School Volleyball team defeated two 3A opponents, Prairiland High School and Blue Ridge High School, dominating both matches en route to sweeping the double header competition on Friday, August 14.
With a lot of uncertainty regarding this summer on how sports would return, head coach Harold Davis said he is glad to watch his team finally be able to play in front of an audience.
“Today was really exciting for the players,” Davis said. “The happiest thing for me as a coach is being able to see the kids back out there on the floor, because we know if we could play the season.”
