Fleet management option discussed

 Farmersville has an aging fleet of vehicles it uses for vari­ous public services and the city is entertaining cost-saving op­tions if a new contract is nego­tiated and approved.

Council heard from Alex Westmoreland, representing Enterprise Fleet Management, at city council’s Aug. 11 meet­ing who said a new purchase agreement would save the city significant costs it incurs on maintenance of aging vehicles.
