Budget, tax rate adopted by council

The city of Farmersville budget and tax rate for fiscal year 2020-21 was unanimously adopted at last week’s city council meeting.

No citizen offered input at the Sept. 8 public hearings regarding the proposed budget or the tax rate.

Council also adopted a number of ordinances that are related to the coming year’s budget.
