Lights, Sister City approved at council meeting

by | Oct 22, 2020 | Latest

Farmersville is going up in lights during the Christmas season, thanks to council’s unanimous approval of a proposal offered by Mayor Bryon Wiebold, who said he wants the city to end a very difficult year on a positive note.

The council voted to accept the proposal at its Oct. 13 meeting. At issue is a plan to light Farmersville Parkway from Texas Highway 78 to Main Street and to light up the downtown square for the month of December.
