Farmersville marching band competes at UIL competition

This past week, the Farmer­sville High School Marching Band competed in their third competition of the fall, par­ticipating in the UIL Region 25 Marching Contest held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Bob­cat Stadium in Celina. The competition featured 20 high schools ranging from 2A to 4A in size. Other competitors include Gunter High School, Anna High School, Commu­nity High School and Melissa High School.

In the competition, the Farmers earned a perfect score from the judges, with each grader giving them a 1 out of five, With their 1st Division Rating in the competition, Farmersville is eligible to compete in the area marching band contest that will be held at Jackie Hendricks Stadium Princeton on Thursday, De­cember 8.
