Brandon Hankins prepares for life off the sideline

After spending the last 15 years as a high school coach, Brandon Hankins is adjusting to his new role managing the athletic depart­ment.

Serving as both Farmersville’s AD and football coach for the last three seasons, Hankins agreed on Oct. 23 alongside superintendent Michael French to become the full-time athletic director at the end of the football season, which concluded Friday, Nov. 6, against Sunnyvale. Hankins said he trea­sured having the opportunity to remain in Farmersville.
