With only three games under their belt, the Farmersville girls basketball team jumped into its district slate, hosting rival Community Lady Braves Friday, Dec. 11.
Entering the matchup, the Lady Farmers were still looking for their first win. After an opening game loss to Muenster, Farmersville competed in two close matchups, losing both against Anna and Valley View by less than five points.
Holding a 0-3 record, the Lady Farmers chose a very opportune time to clinch their first victory, defeating the Lady Braves 46-41.
