Outreach efforts spread holiday cheer

In what turned out to be a year of missed opportunities for many, 2020 ended on a high note with charitable giv­ing in Farmersville.

Judy Brandon of Farmers­ville Outreach Alliance, a local nonprofit, says it was a record year in both food donations and cash from both companies and individuals.

The alliance serves the com­munity with a food pantry and Angel Tree and helps Farmers­ville residents pay for utilities, rent, and even prescriptions, when needed.
