School district earns Superior rating

Farmersville Independent School District has scored a Superior rating from the Texas Education Agency for its stel­lar financial condition, but the future might make it more dif­ficult for the FISD to retain its lofty status, according to Su­perintendent Micheal French.

The FISD Board of Trustees met Dec. 15 to go through its annual Financial Integrity Rat­ing System of Texas (FIRST) report and learned from district financial officer Anna Baker that the district received TEA’s highest rating possible.
