After winning its first game of the season against Ranchview, the Farmersville girls soccer team had the opportunity to grow its momentum before district competition, playing four days over six days in their leadup to a Wednesday, Jan. 28, game against Caddo Mills. Executing on their assignments, the Lady Farmers closed out their pre-district slate in style, winning all four matchups to improve their overall record to 5-3.

Farmersville opened their week Monday, Jan. 18, traveling to Dallas to face A-Plus Academy. Facing their second 4-A team of the season, the Lady Farmers found a lot of success on offense, winning the road matchup 6-0.

Girls soccer coach Chris Chase said he was proud of how they used the game plan to its advantage, finding good scoring opportunities all game.
