Area residents who have an affinity for shopping might want to visit downtown Farm­ersville Saturday for some chocolate goodness.

In an effort to encourage citizens to shop local, multiple merchants are participating in the annual Valentine’s on the Square Saturday, Feb. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Interested shoppers can sim­ply look for the “Chocolate Stop” flyers displayed at partici­pating locations which include: Bottles and Boards 442, Country Roads Vendor Mall, Junkspera­tion, Fancy Fibers Studio, Fiber Circle, Indian Outlaw Western Boutique, RSVP Farmersville, Red Door Antiques, Rise Up Balloons, Over Yonder, Main St Antiques, The Ville Studio 2.0, The Stable, The Hay Loft, The Nest Hearth and Home Store, Texan Realtor Group and Yarn and You.
