Webinar addresses legal landmines for businesses

Collin Corporate College an­nounced in an Apr. 28 press re­lease that it will host a webinar series by attorney Steve Watten of Clark Hill Law Firm titled “Legal Landmines for Busi­ness.”

“Watten will provide in­sight into the top five is­sues overlooked by business owners during a launch,” the press release said. “The webinar will then delve into ways businesses can have a preemptive plan to mitigate litigation by identifying po­tential landmines and then creating a business plan or strategy to avoid them.”

Watten has many years of experience in areas such as providing counsel to managers, executives, and directors of na­tional and multi-national cor­porations. “Specializing in the analysis, structuring and clos­ing of transactions, Watten will raise awareness of potential pitfall businesses can avoid and then discuss the best strategies to prevent litigation exposure,” the press release also said.

The webinars will be held on the following date and times:

• May 6, 10:30-11 a.m.

• May 10, 2-2:30 p.m.

• May 12, 2-2:30 p.m.
