Collin Corporate College announced in an Apr. 28 press release that it will host a webinar series by attorney Steve Watten of Clark Hill Law Firm titled “Legal Landmines for Business.”

“Watten will provide insight into the top five issues overlooked by business owners during a launch,” the press release said. “The webinar will then delve into ways businesses can have a preemptive plan to mitigate litigation by identifying potential landmines and then creating a business plan or strategy to avoid them.”

Watten has many years of experience in areas such as providing counsel to managers, executives, and directors of national and multi-national corporations. “Specializing in the analysis, structuring and closing of transactions, Watten will raise awareness of potential pitfall businesses can avoid and then discuss the best strategies to prevent litigation exposure,” the press release also said.

The webinars will be held on the following date and times:

• May 6, 10:30-11 a.m.

• May 10, 2-2:30 p.m.
