After earning their first playoff victory in eight years last season, Community H.S. football is hoping to use the offseason to set the program up for success in 2021.
In his first full offseason since joining the Braves last spring, coach Dustin Blann said he appreciates having the full offseason this year, hoping to build on his postseason appearance.
“We are in a much more comfortable position this year,” Blann said. “Compared to last year, we were just kind of hitting the ground running because we didn’t have an off season, so we [struggled] trying to make all those accommodations due to the pandemic. It’s nice to be able to feel really good about what you did during the spring and have more of a normal summer coming up.”
