Braves’ 2021 football schedule gives hope for playoff return

After finding success in Dustin Blann’s first season as head coach, Community High School football heads into the 2021 season expecting to com­pete for a district title.

Despite a slow start to the season mostly due to the pan­demic, the Braves were able to close 2020 on a high note, winning four of their final six games to earn a playoff spot as the fourth seed in the district. Community continued to thrive in the postseason, earning their first playoff victory since 2008 by upsetting Glen Rose 28-25 before losing to Pleasant Grove in the second round.
