Roger Widmer wants people to ponder the purpose the education – an issue of importance to Widmer, as he is the chief operating officer for Collin Corporate College.
The purpose of education that the COO highlighted at a local chamber luncheon was “where our past and our future connect.” The textbook in a classroom represents the past, and the teacher in the classroom learns or masters the knowledge and endeavors to add to the body of knowledge, he said.
In that greater sense, then, Collin Corporate College seeks to support the business community in Collin County and beyond and improve employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.
