Business community can seek expertise

Roger Widmer wants peo­ple to ponder the purpose the education – an issue of im­portance to Widmer, as he is the chief operating officer for Collin Corporate College.

The purpose of education that the COO highlighted at a local chamber luncheon was “where our past and our future connect.” The textbook in a classroom represents the past, and the teacher in the class­room learns or masters the knowledge and endeavors to add to the body of knowledge, he said.

In that greater sense, then, Collin Corporate College seeks to support the business community in Collin County and beyond and improve em­ployee engagement, satisfac­tion and retention.
