FISD meeting Thursday to issue bonds

The Farmersville Indepen­dent School District has sched­uled a special meeting Thurs­day at the high school to issue bonds approved in May in a districtwide bond issue elec­tion that will dramatically ex­pand and improve all four cam­puses within the district.

The meeting will occur at 6 p.m. and, according to Super­intendent Micheal French, the board of trustees will include items set for its regular meet­ing scheduled for next Mon­day evening; thus, French said, there will be no meeting next week.
