Standing in the midday sun, Farmersville High School band director Scott Cross is not only sweating, he’s breathing a sigh of relief.
Leading the Farmers through their early morning marching drills, Cross is glad that heat is their biggest obstacle. Less than a month away until band members hit the field, the band director said he’s looking forward to a return to normal.
