IOOF Cemetery announces Tree of Angels program

Farmersville is home to the IOOF Cemetery, a his­toric cemetery built in 1875 by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

Over the years, the cem­etery has required mainte­nance, including landscap­ing. In fact, many of the cemetery’s old trees have died or been severely dam­aged, leaving open spac­es where replacement trees need to be planted. In addition, trees are needed in the northern­most area of the cemetery.
