Farmersville runs at Mineola

Originally scheduled to attend North Hopkins, the Farmersville cross country teams instead traveled to Mineola to compete Friday, Sept. 3.

For the second consecutive week, Aubrey Varner was the top finisher, ending up 8th overall (14:34). Varner improved her time from Kaufman by 44 seconds. out of 88 runners (15:18). Senior Kate Rich recorded a 16:05 run for the Lady Farmers.

Sophomore Amon Odom had the best finish in the boys varsity race, finishing with a 20:27 run. Odom improved his time from Kaufman by seven seconds. Junior Mikey Klemiuk finished just behind Odom, recording a 20:48 run. Sophomore Zackary Gennette also recorded a season-best time, ending with a 21:40 run. Gennette improved his time by 17 seconds.
