Farmers run at Miller Grove

The Farmersville cross country team returned to action at Miller Grove Thursday, Sept. 16. The Farmers’ times were generally slower than previous meets, though coach Jon Nordin said he wasn’t discouraged by the results.

Aubrey Varner had the best finish for the varsity Lady Farmers, ending up 11th out of 114 runners (14:10). Ashlynn Clark finished 41st (15:39), while Kate Rich finished 45th (15:50).

The varsity Farmers finished seventh out of nine schools with 203 total points. Junior Mikey Klemiuk had the best finish in 33rd overall out of 146 runners (19:55). Sophomore Amon Odom finished 61st overall (21:02).
