Three keys to victory: Farmersville vs. Caddo Mills

by | Oct 14, 2021 | Latest, Sports

Farmersville lost their district opener at Ford 67-27 last week. The Farmers host Caddo Mills Friday, Oct. 15. Here are three keys to a Farmers victory over the Panthers.

  • Let Tidwell run

The best player for Farmersville against Ford was senior tailback Brady Tidwell. Serving as the team’s bell cow in the backfield, he rushed for 171 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries. The rest of the offense struggled across from him, finishing with 43 total yards and one touchdown. Quarterback Brady Gray completed four of their 13 passes for 35 yards and an interception. Farmersville’s offensive focus should center on giving Tidwell the ball early and often, relying on him for multiple scoring opportunities.
