The Farmers (0-2, 2-5) allowed 43 unanswered, losing to Caddo Mills at home 50-24.

Play of the Game: Caden Lemmon scores 80-yard touchdown run

Midway through the second quarter, the Farmers trailed Caddo Mills (1-1, 5-2) by six points. After scoring on a 25-yard catch from Aidan Gray, Farmersville gave up the lead on a 12-yard passing score. The Farmers punted on their next drive, giving the Foxes the ball at their 20-yard line.

Caddo Mills capitalized, as Lemmon ran the length of the field for an 80-yard score. Lemmon’s run helped the Foxes extend their lead, growing a 27-8 advantage before halftime.

Impact Farmer: Aidan Gray

Farmersville’s success on offense came through the passing attack, as Brady Gray helped extend drives via the air. Aidan Gray was Brady’s best offensive weapon, finishing with 169 receiving yards and two touchdowns on seven catches. Aidan finished with 46 percent of Farmersville’s total yardage.

The Farmers travel to Wills Point to face the Tigers next Friday.
