For the fifth consecutive year, Farmerville residents can protect holiday purchases by having them delivered to the police department through its safe shipping program.
Police Chief Mike Sullivan started the safe shipping program to combat the theft of packages taken by thieves after being dropped off on porches by delivery companies. The program is open to Farmersville residents that live in the corporate city limits.
