What started as a celebratory event in 2020 following a difficult year impacted by the pandemic, continues this holiday season with Farmersville Lights and much more.
For the past several weekends, the mayor, townspeople, and city workers have stepped up to help string another dazzling display of lights that will have visitors near and far coming back for more.
According to Mayor Bryon Wiebold, the biggest difference between last years and this year’s Farmersville Lights is the “astounding number and efforts” of more than 75 citizen volunteers who helped install the lights, along with “the stellar work of the city utility crews.”
“This year’s edition of Farmersville Lights is a true elevation of Farmersville’s community spirit,” Wiebold said.
